This is followed by the impregnation phase: a vacuum removes the air from the wood cells, facilitating the penetration of the product, which is then fixed in place by pressure. The process concludes with drying, which ensures greater dimensional stability and product quality.<\/p>\n<p>The IMP-VPX is managed by a Siemens PLC system that precisely controls vacuum, pressure, temperature and timing, with programmes tailored to different wood species.
